The team was faced with the challenging  task of transferring the Mediterranean atmosphere to the harsh rainy climate and severe frosts of western Ukraine . The complexity was to internally insulate limestone blocks with natural materials (client wanted only eco-friendly products) to provide cozy conditions during cold winters. So Hempire Mix was chosen as the insulation for this particular home. The material keeps performing incredibly well over the last 9 years , so this hemplime house retains heat and a comfortable level of relative humidity of 50% throughout the year.
